I, too, today I was going to start writing my fine speech in which I invited you to vote for the center rather than the politics of dishonesty and blackmail. I decided not to, and not because things are not true, but simply because I believe these things you already know them. I preferred instead to use these few lines in the perhaps presumptuous to attempt to resurrect the pride raffadalese. As history teaches us, the Sicilians were not separated for some pride and character. Any people has landed in Sicily, the Sicilians have always lowered my head, and our island has always been a land of conquest. In this scenario, however, Raffadali has always been one of the few white flies. La cosa inquietante, però, è che io oggi a Raffadali i Don Abbondio non li conto più!
