Caritas Savona through its President Don Adolfo Macchiola, the Diocese of Savona and Noli, by the Vicar General Monsignor Andrea Giusto Associazione Culturale Renzo Aiolfi through dr.essa curator Silvia Bottaro
organized the exhibition "The poor, the bread, the meeting"
The venue is the prestigious and monumental Savona Sistine Chapel commissioned by Pope Sixtus IV in 1470.
The opening is planned for the significant date of "Holy Thursday",
March 20, 2008 at 16.30.
The exhibition will then open to the public from
March 26 to April 19, 2008 with hours from Thursday to Sunday 16-18.
The initiative is dedicated to remembering the decades work of Caritas for the service of "Mensa" done in order to sensitize people about the meaning of the encounter at the table, not forgetting the seriousness of the problem of hunger in the world. The artists participating
donating to Caritas the work that will be exposed
The catalog of the exhibition will be officially presented
April 12, 2008, at 17 in the Sistine Chapel, Piazza del Duomo, Savona
