I've always admired and supported the philosophy of slow food, even before it was born. Nutrition education impartitami from my mother, the imprinting to put it in modern terms, has instilled in me an awareness of good food, healthy varied making me keep away from industrial production. In the following years, when the culture of fast food was raging everywhere, the standardization of the food and the extremes of industrial production with the release of "new" cutting edge products and who knows just how much more extreme of natural origin, I begin to hear about Slow Food. Fianlmente someone who thinks like me, someone who loves food as such and not just as a vice for the taste buds burned by chemical flavor enhancers.
I immediately backed the lmovimento even if I never joined, attending rduni, fairs, festivals and qaunt'altro spinning in the galaxy of taste.
This year, being free of work commitments I managed to find time to attend the event highlights of the movement: Salone del Gusto. I missed, I was not able to go there in previous years. Then as listener of Caterpillar, I also experienced a certain charm dictated by the irony of the two conductors, who, having extolled the praises of the previous years and "sponsoring" this edition is strongly made me decide: I went to the salon and I would gsto recorded in slow food, me and my family.
finally comes time Sunday, October 26 early in the morning I put in with destination travel Lingotto.
good start, to slow not only the food. The queue at the ticket office is slow. Over an hour!. Oh well, patience, at least the event ....

80% of the area was dedicated to exhibitors with over the counter, labeled with references to nature and the biological, priced at twice the real value.
While in the Oval, where they were grouped by Slow Food was able to watch a real taste of the illicit trade. Bestsellers tasting as wine tasting. But 2 euros for a slice of bread and two slices of ham I am seem an exaggeration. I've seen cheese sold at 65 euro per kilo! Nor were made with milk raccoon.

Not to mention water. Dear friends of Caterpillar, very active combatants against the lobby of mineral waters, why not have criticized the system in this case? Just because you have a space (that you have made anyway) you should not have to feel compelled to silence this nonsense.
